That ball literally bounced a foot in front of the plate and mahan swung. Shameful performances at the plate today
Mahan may be a "slugger" but he sure swings at everything
So how are we going to go the whole game being timid on fastball first pitch
We get runners in scoring position and all of a sudden we DONT SWING AT ONE STRIKE.. ALL BALLS that ARE OFF SPEED

Just looks like a team that isn't ready for the big stage. Plus, it's not like UL is not the better team anyway. And it's on their field. Thrilled we got here, but just doesn't seem to be in the cards.
McKay is pitching really well. Got to give him the credit. Guys don't swing at balls in the dirt because they are dumb. Those were really good pitches.

The first strike called against Reks was a ball. Set the whole tone for that at bat.
Different strike zone for a righty than a lefty. Plate doesnt move ump!
