We will never know, but I don't like the bunt there with the pitcher struggling. This pitcher doesn't have any plus stuff and our guys have seen him in multiple abs. Sac with the 3 hole, ugh for me.
We struggled to score in the first game, so getting on them early is pretty big. Would love to see us hit there but it could also really hurt if we get into that early double play. We took that away and put more pressure on the pitcher early.
This pitcher had given up just 3 earned runs... he's already given up 4 today. 4-0
I think I said it in HOB last game that we would knock this pitcher out early, thing was McDonnell pulled him early enough for us to not put runs on board. Not so much this time, only out he recorded was the SAC! (We got the big inning anyways, so it's worked out just fine)

Man, Thompson is dealing tonight, but a few hit batters and walks are the only thing that is marring his performance. Leadoff guy is on again for UL in the 6th.
Ugh 3 run home run for Louisville. Cleary was a poor decision. Cleary isn't a guy to get strikeouts.
