Man. Riley has been money lately, but just awful today. Leave the bases loaded, and the breaks just not going our way today.

Somebody is going to have to explain this to me... The last two games the coaches have been absolutely horrible ... you refused to take out a pitcher last night who you knew was in horrible shape and today you take out your second best pitcher when he really isn't in that much trouble...base running...bad pitching decisions and today the infield stinks..come on guys!!!! Better get the bats going!
Just about the only criticism I have of Mingione this season is that Kentucky makes WAAYYYY too many outs on the base paths. I understand being aggressive, but that sometimes is real close to being reckless.
Difference in this game is that UF taking advantage of every opportunity while UK is not. Bad baserunning, coaching brain cramps, and our usually reliable hitting from guys like Pompey, Mahan, and Carson is not there.

Several guys are going to have to step up and make have great at bats if UK is going to crawl out of this big hole and have a shot. Timely hits just haven't been there so far today.
And to echo those above, making unforced outs one the base paths will catch up with you against good competition.

This game has turned into an unmitigated disaster. Now our at-bats getting worse. Guys like carson are just totally off (why in the world was he ripping his glove off on that run to first on the blown call a few innings ago????)
Before the season, if you had told me we'd be 2nd in the East, I'd have been real happy. Now, it would be disappointing. I need to have a better perspective, but getting close in sports has been a Kentucky story I've heard too often.
