Should have pounded the ball there. With the backs we have you always have a chance of breaking a long run. If not you are in fieldgoal position. Up 14 is nice but add 3 and you make it a 3 score game.

SJ is scarey to watch. He is either gonna make an amazing play to help us or go bonehead and help the other team. Had two picks dropped luckily. But then hits Badett in stride 50 yds away. He is a box of chocolates

Missed fg and a fumble in red zone could be up 20 but still playing well. The first drop Conrad had should have been caught it was high but hit him in the hands

Johnson has to work really hard in offseason on mechanics. We are up but my god hes maddening. At one point he was 8/11 and looked phenomenal now hes getting chewed out im sure.

I don't really fault them for the throwing and going for 7

We kill them when they play conservatively.

I'm ok with that. It's easy to say in hindsight it was a bad decision. Johnson had the guy open tho. He just made a poor throw.

Have to get the stop to start the second half. Missouri has to be feeling better with as bad as they have played to only be down 14 and they get the ball first. I hope they get the clock fixed for the second half. I think that maybe that contributed to some of the play calling on that last drive. Should have ran it with a timeout still available if we didn't get the first down or get out of bounds. They called it like we were going to run out of time when we still had like 23 seconds before that pass.

Easy to make the calls after the fact though.

Just be satisfied with the 21-7 lead.
That's a loser mentality in my opinion. Why would you as a team want to be satisfied about that half when you know you could be up even more? Got to get em out on the opening drive.

2 turnovers kept us from hanging 35 in first half. Our offense just doesn't value the football. Can't continue to turn it over like we have been doing. Playing to good of football to have turnovers deciding games

Horrible start by the defense. All those missed opportunities are going to come back and bite us.

Missouri playing smarter and trying to slow down and not force things by playing at a break neck speed. Need to hold them to a field goal here.

Not sure how much they're slowing down or how much we have a defender laying on the ground after every play. :joy:

Johnson has regressed in terms of his feet in the pocket. You can't make touch throws flat footed and with the ball low by your chest pads. He needs a higher release point. He's getting batted down and has no touch on check down routes.

He's the best option now, but Johnson needs work to elevate his play going forward.
