This lineup absolutely blows my mind.

WLAP doesn't have it. Don't see a link on the UK website for radio. I broke down and got a monthly subscription to ESPN+
3 up 3 down for UK. Put the ball into play each time, but it went quick.
Cats get one across so far with a walk by Pitre and then a double into right by Church. RF misplayed it out there helping make Pitre stand up at the plate.
Church looks good. Moving much more athletically. Has definitely put in some work.
Thought he looked a lot more slimmed down last year as well, so good that he's kept that going and has put on good weight. Should help a lot.
Mistake pitch is grooved middle/middle with 2 strikes to McCarthy and he makes them pay with a double off the wall to make it 2-0 UK.
They're not going to go away. They can hit well. UK should handle their pen later in the game though.
Tough defensive inning for Burkes. Pass ball between his legs and two disappointing throws down to 2nd.
He's just not a great defensive catcher. He has a strong bat and he's athletic for a catcher, but his defense leaves a whole lot to be desired.
UK went quietly in the top of the 3rd. Three pop outs to the outfield. One of them, by Pitre, went to the warning track but fell short of anything dangerous.
First game and all, but Smiths control is a concern. Doesn’t yet look like an SEC Friday starter.
He's luck that first 3-2 pitch wasn't smashed to be honest. Very hittable. Got out of it with the double play though.
We've had a lot of quiet innings but they keep threatening. Seems like we're a dam trying to hold back something big.
Cats playing with a lot of fire. Upstate probably could have had a big inning there if they didn't hit into a double play thanks to running error. 4-2 still.
Mingione puts a bunt on with Richardson up 6 in the 6th. Takes it off when he gets ahead 3-1 and he almost hits it out and gets a double. Just wild.
Spring is close when old Comebakatz is giving us the play by play!!
9-5 heading into the 8th. Like to put up a few more to rest easy.

We've had a few balls come close to going out but fall just short or richochet off the wall so it was good to see one finally get out of the yard.
Would have liked to have seen pitching be a touch cleaner but a win is still a win.
