So, just a thought. With Dillon Marsh starting tonight, is UK saving Sean Harney for the opening game in the SEC tournament?
Could be basically conceding the loss to Leiter. Trying to get a better matchup for Harney tomorrow.
Just have never figured out this coaching staff's infatuation with Anu. Game killer and has been all year.
The better teams are all on the back end. We just don’t have the talent to compete
As long as that everything starts with a new HC...no where in the SEC would this be allowed but at UK.
If Mitch keeps Mingione think about the season ticket sales and overall attendance. It will be horrible.
Its one thing to lose and be competitive. Its another to be completely inept at everything. This team has gotten worse as the year has went on.
Yes but I think two factors for that. One is schedule is much more difficult on the second half and two is total lack of SEC caliber talent on the roster.
Henderson was twice the coach Ming is and definitely brought in a lot more talent. In all honestly all of mingione success came early with Henderson’s players. Either way time to hit the reset on UK baseball.
Vandy had a huge crowd on senior night last night. Quite a contrast to our "senior" night which was apparently a fiasco. No reason Kentucky can't have a very successful baseball program like Vandy or Louisville
I’ve watched several SEC games and from what I’ve seen, most are at least 50% capacity. Some are 100% capacity. Why is UK the lone wolf at capacity level? I think we are 20% but I’m not sure about that percentage. Perhaps to draw attention away from the crowd size.
Henderson definitely recruited better with horrible facilities. Mingione was just not a good hire. UK let the program get in such a mess no good established coach wanted the job. That’s how we got Mingione. I don’t blame Mingione for this mess as I do Barnhart. He’s in charge of all athletic programs and to let one get out of hand like this is on him period.
