on Netflix. Show about British police using cctv cameras to observe, prosecute, and even prevent crime in various cities. It seems pretty effective (and not incredibly expensive either). Is this used in the US? To what degree is it a violation of privacy? Thoughts?

I have cameras up around my house. They aren't very expensive at all. I have cameras that record to memory card and cameras that are wireless and transmit to mobile phone.

There are cameras practically everywhere now days.

Some even think they are located in microwaves.
