Hate it for the kid, but love it for the school.
After watching the treatment that they’ve gotten for years and years, I Fkn love it that they have some heartache. Daddy Boozer gonna have some restless nights now. That makes me sleep better.

It really wasn’t a boneheaded play. If he had held the ball and got fouled, missed the one and one and the same thing happened (3 at the buzzer for UCONN), the mantra would have been he had two players at the other end of the court all he had to do was throw ahead and its game over. It’s the nature of second guessing when you have the luxury of knowing how things played out.
Nah he could have held the ball, there wasn’t even enough time to get a back court violation. Even if they fouled him the clock would have been really low. Plus they have the opportunity to rebound his miss.

Its funny how people see the same object, item, situation but relate to that object, situation in different ways.

I watch he'd the game and the video of the last play multiple times and its funny how this board feels about it.
I seen a UCONN player make a great play; he timed his jump perfectly and boy did he jump. I think this kid deserves some credit for his heads up play.

Then you have the other Duke players. Seemed like the first ones to touch the ball did not want to be the one to make a play. Seemed like they did not want to be fouled and have to make a free throw.
It was definitely a great play, just crazy they had the opportunity to make it. All they had to do was pass the ball back and forth, that is bad coaching in the timeout.

This is what happens when people lose money on games.
No. I lost the potential for $650 on them for the title and then another ~$122 on EE parlays from that shot. I did not go berserk on the internet attacking a player.

It's disgusting behavior, whether a UK fan does it, or a Duke fan does it. At least the UK fan is probably actually a fan of the team and the anger is coming from passion. The Duke "fan" is probably some front runner gay *** ***** who never went to Duke.

Well, you probably handle it differently than others. People who lose money when they have a gambling problem are typically irrational with their behavior.

There was 6 seconds left when he tried to throw the ball. UConn wasn’t just going to let him sit there with the ball and run the clock out, they most certainly would have fouled. And of course they would have a chance at a rebound but how hard do you think they are crashing the boards on a missed free throw up 2 with 5 seconds to go. They aren’t so the scenario I painted was a real possibility and your kidding yourself if you don’t think the same second guessing of not throwing the ball ahead wouldn’t have come into question.

We will never know but it sure looked as if Duke had some players freeze in that moment.

I’ve tried to tell people if you’d just step outside and look around, which they never do, you’d see this is WORSE at other programs. But the UK fans that do this will continue to do so because being “better fans” in their minds is what matters.

I never understood how some of our own fans have been brainwashed into thinking it's only Kentucky who has crazy fans. It's everywhere. We also have the best fans too, but for some reason people only want to focus on the negatives.
Because what they’re really doing is looking for ways to protect coaches and the coaches players not be objective about the topic. They want to create a picture that it’s rare and that it’s UK fans doing it, the same ones that have issues with the staff. They want to paint these fans as nuts. It’s self serving nonsense.

I actually love it for Carlos. At the end of the last game, he started waving bye to St. Johns. Really? You're almost 50 years old and your taunting the other team?
I seen that too.. I love it! And what the **** is he Wearing half the time? Baby seal lookin *** lmao! I love it👏👏👏👏👏

You make a solid point.

When I looked at the box score it did appear to me that the reason Cayden was in the game as opposed to someone with more experience was because he had made (I think) 4 of 6 FT's in the game. I am guessing that they wanted to run out the clock but they were fully expecting to get fouled.

I rarely read Xitter comments because it's usually like a Nazi meeting but I made an exception to see how Duke fans were taking things. I read about 20 comments and this was my favorite:

"I just smashed my TV in front of 30 guests at my party because of the Blue Devils game. My wife just took our crying kids and said they’re all spending the week at a hotel. Duke has ruined my life and my party. I can’t handle this anymore. Goodbye Duke. I am no longer a fan."
Reminds me of the Episode where Bart Simpson says, " This is the worst day of my life." Homer looks at him and says, " Worst day of your life...so far!"

Based on how Cayden did at filling in at PG1 for Foster, maybe we can snag him up here, since his brother is goin NBA. He's a solig PG, even if it pains me a little bit to say so....and he's got a solid pedigree and resume too.

Can you imagine Bobby Hurley as an assistant and Cayden Boozer as the PG for UK? I think hell would freeze over and RR would go into total meltdown. If we wait a few years, we might be able to hire Scheyer for HC when he gets fired as well.
