Position coaches matter to certain players more than the HC. I do find it a tad off that Riley went there when Tony didn't even play him here though. I'm sure Rogers will get some NIL deal at Oregon

What do all these major programs see in him? He only has 1.5 sacks in 2 years. He barely had any Power 5 offers out of high school.

Tuioti seems to be much better at stealing players from Lincoln than he ever was at getting them here.

Imo he won’t be missed
I’ll have to look it up to find the specific name, but someone once said in reply to losing a player to transfer, “well, we weren’t winning with him.” He seems to always have been hurt as well. Hate losing any player in a position of need, but oh well.

I think he would do better in the PAC12 than in the BIG. Rogers was always going to be in the rotation, it's debatable in my opinion if he was ever going to start at Nebraska. I do hope wherever he goes he does well as long as it's outside of the BIG.

I mean… He was a sure fire starter this year for us, and expected to be one of the leaders of our defense. That’s one of the reasons there was such a freak out when he left. That being said I agree he will do better in the PAC. A little less physicality and wear and tear for an injury prone guy.

Honestly I think it was a good decision for him. Rather than continue to bulk up and move to DT… Not sure his frame could hold up all year like that. And his quickness was his best asset.

I think Rogers overall has more talent than the TTech transfer, but our new guy fits the scheme better. Hopefully it works out for both sides. Still hoping for the Bama DT as well.

Other teams are paying our backups who jump ship more than we are paying our starters who choose to stay

Oregon makes me second guess green being my favorite color.
Their uniforms look like 50% alien 50% drag queen.

Do they want any more of our noncontributors?
I suppose the name of the game will be to look for the best proven players at the schools with the weakest NIL. It's time to hit free agency son.

Is it better to get a kid with two years starting experience at a lesser school, or try to get Alabama's five stars that have only ridden the bench. I'd look for a track record.
