So much for Alabama not belonging. Looks like they will make it through after a terrible 1st quarter. I think Indiana can handle either of these teams but interested to see how it plays out.

Bama is still Bama and they're pretty good. I agree with you, Indiana is better than both, IMHO. Ultimately, I'm sick of Bama though. They're like Notre Dame as far as being a "God" in CFB....but Bama can back it up. Noodle Lame never does.

Can't stand the Dawgs but they can play with any team in the playoff.
Of course ND will be in the playoffs next year. They're guaranteed a spot, even if they don't win a game the whole season. It's pathetic. As for being "competitive" against Ohio St......not really. They scored a TD and then Ohio St. woke up and a promptly outscored ND 31-8 in the second and third quarters - only needing a field goal in the 4th to put the Noodle Lamers away for good.
I say again, ND has played in 3 "National Title Games" since the late 80's and have lost all 3. They're not relevant to college football anymore and haven't been in nearly 40 years. Their formula is to play no one all season, relying on their cup cake schedule and the media slobbering all over them - for no reason - in order to try to back into a playoff game - and then they're finally forced to play someone with a pulse, and they get beat, because they don't belong on the same field as real teams who are often bigger, stronger, and faster, and most importantly, actually battle tested. ND is a farce. A mirage. Smoke and mirrors.
No, USC will not be in the playoffs next year. They actually play a really brutal schedule - every single year.
