Hey BBN, just wondering how many of you will be at the CBS Sports Classic in NYC on Dec. 21st. Got my tickets, hotel, and airplane ride a month or so ago. Can’t wait!

Anybody going should hit up Jack Demsey's before the game. It's right around the corner from MSG and it's a UK alumni bar. My dad and I watched the '14 Elite 8 game against Michigan there and it's one of my best experiences as a UK fan.

That was my first game there too. Somebody from the predecessor message board from Pikeville got us tickets. Great seats. My son got picked to go out on the court for the contest during halftime of the Georgia game.
Tickets and hotel seems much higher than Atlanta. Gonna have to sit the high price hotels out.
I’d love to go sometime, to all the CATS fans going be safe. I know you can go anywhere and have issues but NYC you could be mugged in broad daylight!
My car broke down going to that event in a snowstorm. I saw the game from a little hotel room in Ohio near the Saturn dealer at that time. Luckily someone sold my tickets for me.

The thing I remember about the game was how athletic John Wall was for a freshman going against the U Conn kids. And how HORRIBLE the U Conn fans were!! But it was so great beating them!!!
Was there for the Champions Classic game in 2012 when we beat KU too!!! It's just a great place to watch a game!!!
I’m sure. I can’t make it work to go so I didn’t price anything. NYC is always quite expensive though.
We love visiting there anyway.

I was there 2 1/2 days. It was the fuel pump they said. I suspect it was bad fuel but either way I had no means to do it myself. It was a snowstorm, I had my girlfriend at the time, my mom, and a Jack
Russel with me and only minimal days off from work.
I also remember the horrible UConn fans from that game. They were horrible in Maui as well.
