I listened and thought it was a good conversation. Interesting point made towards the end about how they used the transfer portal after spring practice and what that says about Stoops’ view of his DBs.

Love the Bud Elliott Summer School podcasts. He gets a good 20-30 minute preview of every D1 school. Great series to listen too on long summer drives or yard work days.

Unless I missed it, there was no mention of Alex Afari. I understand overlooking him because he doesn't fit into one particular position room. But the kid is a star and the staff will figure out how to get him on the field.

They aren't sold on Courtland Ford. I hadn't really looked into him much, just assuming he was an upgrade, but these guys act like Flax could beat him out.

That's why there is competition in practice. Ford is not a finished product and neither is Flax. Occasionally a player has a very productive offseason and improves more than expected. We have seen it happen before.

No way Flax starts. You don't learn balance in a year. Especially so if you still carry a tire around your midsection. He looked terrible in his last summer workout Pic. After 4 years in a S&C program that is totally on the players desire

I didn't say he will. I said there is competition in practice.
