These breaks are pretty good for the WNBA. For a few days in a row, we haven't seen a player, coach, media member, league official, say or do something incredibly stupid.
It came down to Clark and Mitchell with Mitchell winning as she did in July. Mitchell averaging over 28pts/GM and breaking the record for consecutive 20+ games was the deciding factor. Still I personally could have seen Clarks 24+/GM AND 9.4 assists/GM as an even better month. Unfortunately I think we'll see the same thing in the MVP voting, and their mutual excellence will put them against each other in the voting with Wilson winning comfortably.
I doubt that Kate would claim Chicago as "home",... Edwardsville is more of a Saint Louis town.

This is why unless they hop teams like LeBron, neither Paige nor Angel are winning titles any time soon, unlike Caitlin.

I think this quote might have been made up just to stir some shat up.
What I mean is that it's pretty common for people to make up quotes about Angel Reese in general. But it's also common for people to make up things she says as well. It gets people riled up.

This is great news depending of course on who the W replaces her with. Basically "the devil you know". It does seem hard to believe they could bring in someone who would do less with all of this growth potential. Hopefully the NBA will have some guidance on where they should lean. but who knows.
