It’s been hilarious reading Threads. People just expect State Farm Arena to change their existing schedule to accommodate the Dream. There is a concert the night of Game 3 and the Hawks have a home game the night of Game 4. And people have the nerve to be pissed that the Hawks haven’t volunteered to change their game that has been scheduled and sold out for months. The sense of entitlement is off the charts with these idiots.I believe I read that Atlanta is stuck playing the finals in that 3500 seat arena. Lol.
I hope the negativity affects their play and the Dream lose. It’s been hilarious reading Threads. People just expect State Farm Arena to change their existing schedule to accommodate the Dream. They don’t have a fan base.I hope the negativity affects their play and the Dream lose.
That's why I'm throwing lots of money on them to win the series. Gotta cover all bases to make sure this sh** doesn't happen, so we don't have to deal with that f***ing fanbase for the rest of eternity.
Unfortunately, Angel Reese has enough of a fanbase for them. They don’t have a fan base.
I've been out of touch the last few days regarding the W, and focusing on "The Business Of Basketball." Is it really that bad? Are barricades going up? Are folks stocking up on food? Lines at gas stations (regardless of the prices)?Unfortunately, Angel Reese has enough of a fanbase for them.
They are praying, in the strongest sense of the word, that the Dream win the title so that they can take to the streets and flaunt it in the faces of any Caitlin Clark fan they come across.
It's that bad on social media right now.........
Why do you care?Unfortunately, Angel Reese has enough of a fanbase for them.

That’s completely on brand for Reese. Couldn’t get past the Sweet 16 at Maryland so she transferred to LSU to get a ring with Kim Mulkey. Couldn’t even get to the playoffs with Chicago so she leveraged a trade to an established contender in Atlanta.Unfortunately, Angel Reese has enough of a fanbase for them.

I wouldn't exactly say Clark led Indiana to the 2nd of the 3.That’s completely on brand for Reese. Couldn’t get past the Sweet 16 at Maryland so she transferred to LSU to get a ring with Kim Mulkey. Meanwhile, Clark led Iowa to the only two championship game appearances in program history and has led Indiana to three straight playoff berths after they had failed seven years in a row.
That’s open to debate. But it’s worth noting that the Fever were 8-5 in the 13 games she played and 16-15 in the 31 games she missed. If they only win 6 or 7 of the 13 games she played, they might not have made the playoffs at all.I wouldn't exactly say Clark led Indiana to the 2nd of the 3.
I'll give way more credit to KM and AB and the hodge podge of point guards the Fever went through than "energy injected by the fanbase"That’s open to debate. And that doesn’t even factor in the energy she and her fan base injected into the entire Fever organization. They were one of the bottom teams in the league in attendance prior to her arrival and suddenly started selling out. You can’t dismiss that home court advantage in some of their 16 wins with her on the bench.
Nah, we tried to move past it. Her fans wouldn't let it go.I love how much the Reese fawning lasted after the FIBA world cup. Now we're back to her being the the villain in Clark's origin story.
Where are you reading Reese fan opinions?Nah, we tried to move past it. Her fans wouldn't let it go.
In the newspaper obviously.........Where are you reading Reese fan opinions?

They tied with Las Vegas for the second best regular season record in the league in 2025. Does that not count for anything? The Dream had won ONE playoff game in the 7 seasons before Reese arrived.
What exactly were they contending for?
The Fever had KM and AB and a serviceable point guard in 2023. They averaged 4000 fans per home game and won 13 games. The next season, with the same head coach and a virtually identical roster except Clark, Indiana won 20 games and reached the playoffs for the first time in 8 years. Clark changed the trajectory of the franchise. She and her fan base completely reenergized it and that momentum carried over into 2025.I'll give way more credit to KM and AB and the hodge podge of point guards the Fever went through than "energy injected by the fanbase"
I still think this is giving Clark way too much credit considering she wasn’t on the floor while KM was going so hard she was getting rhabdo. The Fever had KM and AB and a serviceable point guard in 2023. And, again, without the 8 wins they tallied with Clark in the lineup, they probably don’t even make the playoffs in 2025.
Depends on which fans of "other players" you ask.................Clark was part of the team in 2025.

They then lost to the Fever without Clark. We can all bash on her as much as we want and she's a super unlikeable player but she's been exactly what that team needed to get to the next level. She's an excellent rebounder and defender. They already had an excellent guard court and were a physical team before her but this helped put them over the top. They tied with Las Vegas for the second best regular season record in the league in 2025. This comment is fair - your others are primarily just oppositional defiance.I still think this is giving Clark way too much credit considering she wasn’t on the floor while KM was going so hard she was getting rhabdo.
Clark was part of the team. She was important, but saying she was the leader that year while sitting 30 games and everyone else putting in the work is a stretch.
I also think the comments about Reese not leading Chicago to a playoff is a little unfair. She shows up that year, not even their highest draft pick, and is their only all star. Chicago trades away Mabrey and their best scorer is Chennedy Carter, a woman basically blackballed from the league. Year 2, they have no one and Reese is their only all star. Year 3, she's out of Chicago and Chicago has 0 all stars. They then lost to the Fever without Clark. The Sky were a playoff team in 2023. The Fever finished 5 games behind them that season(1/8 of a season worth of wins is a large gap). The Fever flat out stunk worse when Clark joined. Since then the Fever’s winning percentage has doubled. While Reese was on the Sky their winning percentage went down both years. And the Dream finished with the same record this season as they did last season without her.I also think the comments about Reese not leading Chicago to a playoff is a little unfair. Meanwhile, Clark lands in a great spot with the 2023 1st overall pick and Kelsey Mitchell. Not saying Clark didn't make a big impact on the Fever, but I don't think anyone was walking into Chicago and making a big impact. They flat out stunk.
In 2023 they were a sub .500 team and their top scorers were Kaleah Copper (all star), Courtney Williams, and Marina Mabrey. The top 2 scorers were gone by the start of the season and by the end of 2024 all three of them were gone. The Sky were a playoff team in 2023. Reese is a good player when she plays to her strengths, but she does not raise the performance floor of her team.
That doesn't explain the Dream having the same exact regular season record last year as this year. My point is, she isn't a floor raiser like Clark is. She's a nice piece to the puzzle but not a keystone for a team. And she found a team that was already in really good shape to take her to the championship series. Clark's team was in bad shape when she joined, and three years later they're not in good shape because of some really bad contracts the team gave out.In 2023 they were a sub .500 team and their top scorers were Kaleah Copper (all star), Courtney Williams, and Marina Mabrey. Let's not act like they were the same team.
So your point is that since she replaced the role previously held by Britney Griner (a 10x all star, and wnba champion) Reese is not a floor raiser? That doesn't explain the Dream having the same exact regular season record last year as this year. As long as Cox, the Ticket Sales manager for Dallas remains as GM, expect more bad decisions resulting in more bad contracts. Go back to selling tix.Clark's team was in bad shape when she joined, and three years later they're not in good shape because of some really bad contracts the team gave out.
