Sorry I cannot see Sean Miller as #2 Figured it should be about even between CCC and Few.
Agreed on this. Not saying Miller is a bad coach but I think overall Zona underperformed their extremely high level of talent this year and was pretty inconsistent.Sorry I cannot see Sean Miller as #2 Figured it should be about even between SSS and Few.
I know this is good news in the grand scheme of things, but in the moment there is a little disappointment. How the heck can the guy who took the poster child for bad basketball in the NCAAs to their first tourney (and win a game there plus come one awful call away from seriously scaring the likely national champs) not be considered the CotY?????Congratulations to Chris Collins on this accomplishment! That was the main point of this thread. I'm just so thrilled to have a coach of his caliber at NU. And to the players that have bought in and put in all the effort to make this possible for him, thank you!
I don't think post season is considered for the award - otherwise they would have to wait until after the championship game to determine the coach of the year.Next year, after getting to the Final Four (possibly winning), he should get it.
