Salisbury’s defense has allowed one offensive touchdown this year. One. The offense had their an Back last night and was on the 20 driving when the game ended going into the 4th. Easily would have been a few more scores. Offense still has some room for growth (with that coaching staff they will grow quickly) but the defense is championship caliber. Look forward to the next few weeks. I see so many that aren’t “sold” yet and it looks like oak grove has been crowned already. Should get fun over the next month.

I do have 10/11 circled. I think it's for the conference championship.

Just to be clear, I don’t think anyone is crowning OG, especially not OG fans - each game is a test and I don’t think anyone is looking past the next week. Salisbury, Ledford and Thomasville will all be formidable tasks. Look forward to one of those and someone else on the schedule could pull off a surprise!

That oak grove - Salisbury game should be a good one. Winner likely takes the CCC. Hard to say who will win.

I’m a big Holcomb fan but still I’m surprised how great he has this team playing already in just year 2.

I agree with the idea that OG’s fan base isn’t ready to receive a crown just yet.

Anyone who has been paying attention to this football program remembers last years scores:
Losses to:
Lexington 43-14
Thomasville 35-0
Salisbury 30-10
Ledford 21-0
North Davidson 35-0

Plus squeaker wins vs Central and East Davidson.

Expectations are growing in Midway, but I’ve yet to talk to anyone who is prepping to hang banners for this year.
