CCHS - Week 7

Before the season started I speculated that Carmel could very well lose their first three games, and then win out to go 6-3. I would still stick to that, except I was just reading in the paper that they lost their D1 tight end for the rest of the year. They cannot afford to lose him and still win out, IMO. So, taking the remaining games one at a time, I am going to say they win at home this weekend over Benet in a real close one. I don't know who the real MCC team is, but we'll wait a week to worry about that.

Is Benet healthy after that debacle last week? How many QB's did they lose?

Football without Turner will certainly have an impact, but they move on as a team. Three good opponents still left to play and it should be very interesting and entertaining to say the least.

Benet used 4 QBs in the game. I am not sure that all 3 that played ahead of the closer were hurt. I hope that Sznajder comes back and can play. He's pretty good. Word was he left with a back injury. I certainly hope that it is not serious.

Injuries absolutely blow.

I can't wait for 20 yrs when an acl is a possible return later in the half.

At least the first two were hurt I'm told. Not sure of the other two but they all got destroyed in that game.

Carmel has 0% chance of winning out, even if they had their D1 TE. They dont have a QB that can throw the ball. Any team that has some ability to play the spread will beat them by 2 TD's or more. They lose the next two weeks to get bounced out of the playoffs.
