It's pretty amazing that most believe that the balance of the season hinges on a freshman WR. OU has the offensive tools needed to win going forward. They're going to just need to re-group a bit. Scoring 50 its a game isn't going to be easy.

I've thought the same thing. A TRUE freshman at that. For all the rah-rah we have heard about "WE 2 DEEP", turns out this team really has zero depth if a handful of injuries halfway into the season are made out to be threatening the entire season. God almighty if a true freshman can come in and be the pivotal WR on the offense, then what does that say about all the other WR talent that has been recruited in the last handful of years that has been on campus longer.

I believe Lamb is on course with being a franchise player at OU. I don't recall Clayton, Broyles or Shepard being as good this soon into their careers. When Lamb left the game vs ISU, the passing game diminished.
Where is Mead ? Why hasn't Brown been more active ? Why hasn't Jones been more active ? Can Smallwood, Morris and Tease step up ?

I think we can forget about Mead. He has shown that he just can't get open.

Brown has not stepped up at all when it matters. Smallwood, Jones, and Morris will need to ramp up if CeeDee is on DL. Badet is pretty solid at times, but has shown to be largely inconsistent. So this leaves to question...why not lean on Andrews more for the big plays.

Andrews. This has been Riley's greatest downfall this season IMO. I know defenses are keying on him but not really anymore because we're just not making him a priority.

And the middle of the field. Why we don't throw over the middle has been baffling me since Kevin Wilson left. It's the most vulnerable place to attack and we almost disregard it with our wide receivers.

Oh, and throw the damn ball to Andrews.

They would rather throw those little swing passes that pick up 1 or 2 yards a pop.
