Notre Dame has played nobody this year.

I will not be shocked at all if Indiana wins by a couple scores.
IU played one other team in the top 6 of the Big 10 and got their doors blown off. Against similar or lesser talent they are a good team.

They have an element of mystery about them though.

Notre Dame feels like a middle of the pack B1G team. In fact, that’s what they’ve been the last 20 years

Owning this as a bad take.

Hope Cignetti never sniffs the playoff again
They deserved to be there. Good story. It’s not exactly easy to win on the road, on a Friday in the first game of its kind. If they didn’t toss that bad pass for a pick this could be a different story

That catch would’ve gone against Nebraska 100 times out of 100 in the Big

Probably the end for Indiana. Nice season and story. But probably don't have the talent to compete with the Ohio States/NDs yet.

(Watch them make a second half comeback now to make me look silly. Lol.)

I hope they do. I doubt it but everyone likes a Cinderella story and our loss might sting a bit less.

ND's defense having similar effect as Michigan and Ohio State did to IU: their OL and QB look overmatched badly.

They have a 31st ranked SOS. Indiana is ranked 69......

ND is 2nd in SRS by the way. Overrated stat but this season I think it shows nobody really had a hard schedule.

I'd be shocked if they muster a couple scores

indiana is a typical overrated B1G fraud - would be in the sugar bowl in any other conference that doesn't have the media's tongue in its colon

they don't belong in this game

Amen

Letting them in was a joke. I hope IU ties it here in the first Q so I can win my bets...but this game is going to be a 30 point ND win.

I also love that IU only lets up 78 yards rushing a game...yeah right...
They had one loss with a 12 team bracket. They were getting in no matter what.

Needs a huge talent upgrade that’s for sure.

Honestly besides Ohio State, neither one of these teams beat anybody but they beat what ever schedule that was given to them..

ND down the road in the future has easy schedules.

That is why the "committee" needs to be changed. They literally need like 4 CFB fans to be there helping out.

This is why March Madness is so good, with that many teams it is really hard to **** it up.

Indiana sucks and I get it, I do, they looked great vs horrible teams. They had the perfect schedule. But they suck, everyone knew it. They are Army, they just happen to be in the Big Ten

It's a sad realization but apparently true.

Notre Dame has high draft picks everywhere, including a potential 1st rounder from Omaha wearing the "C" on his chest

we are nowhere close to the team that they're beating the **** out of, much less them, heading into Year Three

Feeling a little down seeing a program such as Indiana is in the playoffs. It’s nothing against them but it’s hard to take we are now where close to making it.
We're closer than most think. We played OSU better than Indiana did IMO. We were an offensive coordinator a couple of turnovers away from being in the hunt for a playoff berth. I believe we have enough talent now. Now it's about getting experience for our QB and what will be a younger defense and O line.

Cignetti looks pretty average tonight but not as average as his QB does. DCs have Cignetti and his offense pretty well figured out now but Roarke is missing open receivers at times. That INT in the redzone was a back breaker in the first quarter.

would have been much cooler to see Ole Miss or Bama in this game
