Was very interested in what the wash would say about this year’s game.

Absolute blockbuster.

The rumors of CFB’s demise are largely exaggerated. Playoff numbers in general up.

That’s a 6:30 kick too. Basically poo pooing the west coast market. They probably weren’t interested or going to watch regardless but still to do those numbers without them is insane.

They’ll be even better in two years when will stein has us in the title game!
To think Stein can do what Cignetti did in two years is way unrealistic imo. Cig has tons of HC experience plus knew the funding/recruiting systems. Stein understands them but has yet to put them into practice. Will take a few years of practice.

I have to assume the other guy was joking. Indiana has a way bigger NIL chest than UK too.

I was just being funny. I do think Indiana proved a school like Kentucky can do it, though. Their NIL may be nice but the talent on that team wasn’t out of this world by any means outside of QB. All older players that bought into the system. We can get that with the right group of guys.

I think that people may be setting themselves up for disappointment if they think what happened with IU is going to be the norm, or very easily replicated. I think what happened with Cig and IU will be an outlier, maybe the only one. Hope I'm wrong, because it was fun to see someone other than the usual suspects playing for the championship.

Thinking it can happen and will happen are different. I will say, I’m more optimistic than I ever have been that UK can make some real noise in football. And let’s be honest, UK football fans can’t be set up for big disappointments anymore ;)

All the playoff teams were over $20 million except Tulane and James Madison. I don’t know who the next Indiana is but whoever it is will be a big spender.

I just want to win 5 games and play a fun style, build for the future. Not expecting SEC championships, college playoffs, etc anytime soon. As difficult as the schedule will be going forward, making a bowl game regularly would be an accomplishment.
