A crazy number of openings. Will Florida State come open? Wisconsin certainly will. North Carolina. Plus all of the openings once people shuffle around. At least that's something interesting since the football season went down the toilet.

I like the fact that Penn State hasn't hired right away and seems to be doing their diligence. Giant field awaits at the end of the season and NFL ranks too. Ideal candidate should fall into the bracket of late thirties early forties in my opinion.

I didn’t want to start a new thread, but my sources are suggesting that Brian Kelly to Michigan State is likely to be announced shortly after MSU loses to Iowa.

There are some complicating details however.

He’ll be somewhere else in another four years, probably the NFL if he’s successful. This is the same guy who walked away from Tennessee after one season.

Ole Miss was his longest tenure. Two years with the Raiders. Three years with USC. Two years with FAU. Don’t forget he left/was kicked out by Saban while working as Bama OC to take the FAU job before the playoff ended also
