On a three-game losing streak, the Mountaineers need something to change the season around, and after two weeks off to rest up, this is their chance to finally make a splash.

The defense might be giving up more points than anyone in the Big 12, but the pass rush has been dangerous enough to be a problem, and the offensive line is doing a decent job of keeping defensive fronts out of the backfield.

In other news, Brown not getting the job done and not competing at anywhere near the level of the former coach. A few disturbed individuals who predicted he would come in and immediately do better are still working out their talking points to excuse this away and hide the fact that they bashed the former WVU coach and team when they performed at a far higher level.

Here is the thing, if this were your first negative thread attempting to paint a negative picture of Neal Brown and the program - regardless of whether you posted an article or not - probably nobody would say anything.

It is kind of like this nurse I once fired. She could never consistently come to work when scheduled, and even when she did, it was usually late and always with an excuse. So after numerous steps in the progressive discipline the process, second, third, fourth chances, etc... I let her go because other staff were having to be mandated to stay over to cover the next shift after they had already put in their shift. I gave her one final warning, told her no more chances, if she was late or missed again, she was done.

Two weeks later she calls and says she can’t come to work because she has a flat tire, so I fired her. She went around telling everyone how her horrible boss fired because she had a flat tire.

Uh... no. I fired her for the 23 unexcused absences in a 6 month period as well as the numerous tardiness issues. The flat tire excuse was just the straw that broke the camels back. If that were an isolated issue, I would have never fired her for that. Things happen. I have gotten a flat on the way to work before.

She got fired because she had a significant history of absenteeism and tardiness. That is what got her fired, not the flat tire.

I equate this to you. Countless negative posts toward the program and coach, then you dig up some negative commentary on WVU’s bowl chances online and post it here and pretend you are just trying to have a discussion and everyone else is being mean to you.

Nobody bought it. Go to the Houston board.

Idiots were relentless against Holgorsen for years. He could do no right even though he won the second most games ever against the toughest schedules.

posters like me pointed out the difficulties faced and how well he was doing despite that.

idiots called for fans to stay home, didnt let up pressure in calling for his head adn eventually he left because of the lacknof support.

When I and others pointed out the likely disastrous results, when WVU was on the verge of being in the BIG 12 CCG and even making the playoff- we were told shut the f up, anyone can step in and do immediately better.

now the replacement has WVU near the bottom of major college football— a bigger immediate drop than even Stewart produced— and the same imbeciles are trying everything they can to not talk about what they did, not admit how wrong they were, and pretend what everyone can see is not what they see.

same problem the country at large faces. Total dishonesty and looking the other way be ause sick egos wont let them admit how wrong theyve been.

here WVU and its fans will suffer due to their actions for years to come— and yet they still troll, derail anything they didnt write, lie, butch and whine and refuse to admit how wrong they were.

Hey Bucky, Have you ever seen the movie "The Caine Mutiny?"
