The committee will probably go with Alabama, Ohio State, Clemson, Washington. They could flip Clemson and Ohio State in the order, but that wouldn't make much difference since they will be playing each other anyway.

I think the best 4 teams are Bama, Ohio St, Clemson and Michigan but I think that Washington gets in over Michigan.

Personally, I don't think you should be playing for the national championship if you couldnt win your conference.

I'll take OP's list.

Well the list is official. 1, Bama, 2, Clemson, 3 Ohio St. 4, Washington.

I think they picked Washington for a few reasons, but one big one nobody is talking about is that if Alabama would have had to play Penn State or Michigan, what reward would they have gotten for being the top seed? None, they would have gotten screwed.

How do you figure?penn state and Michigan lost 2 games. Don't believe that is screw job. Penn state could have had numerous losses and Alabama would have steam rolled them worse than they will washington

I disagree. Washington will get BLASTED. I watched them against USC and Bama will win by 28, minimum.

That's a logical point, but it has nothing to do with the rules by which the committee actually selects the 4 finalist teams.

I think the committee got it right. No reason a 2 loss conference winner should get in over a 1 loss conference winner.

I said that in 2011 when Alabama didn't win their own division and everyone on here had the complete opposite stance then because it was an SEC team.

Bama did not deserve to be there in that BCS championship. That's what led to us getting the playoffs in the first place.

When it's 1 vs 4, you're going to play a good team regardless. I think Michigan could have beaten Alabama though. That's the title game we should have got if it weren't for the officiating in the OSU game.

I didn't say that then, and I still don't believe it.

Bama shouldn't have been in the title game that year....not only did they not win their division or their confrence, they had already lost to the team they were playing. It was complete BS.

Same with Ohio State this year.

Bama is so dang big and physical. They have DBs bigger than most teams LBs. I don't see how any team in it could score enough on them to beat them. IMO OSU has the best shot because of their speed. They're probably faster than Bama but not nearly as physical. I'd love to know what they're giving those boys after they get them on campus. Those guys are big as bulls after a couple years in that program.

Who had a better resume then bama? they had 1 loss..a 9-6 overtime loss to the number 1 undefeated team.

Yall are basically saying that the 2 best teams can't be in the same conference..which is BS

So now we know the teams. I guess the committee basically says that winning the B10 east (10-2) and its conference title doesn't mean anything.

This. LSU would have bitched slapped Oklahoma State and Les Miles would still be the head coach. I know les miles wishes the BCS it put Oklahoma State number 2. The BCS was a lot less biased than the current committee.

It's a 4 team playoff. They were gonna be playing a good team regardless. It's not the NCAA tournament where you can get a couple of warmup games as the top seed.
