Benet's D is completely confused. I have not seen the triple option run this well ever. Poor punt into the wind and 2 Benet fumbles gave CG short fields. The wind is limiting Benet's passing attack. Benet has run the ball effectively but finds a way to hurt themselves with a hold or a fumble. Hats off the CG. Very well coached.

how is cg scoring?

Running the ball up the middle and to the outside. Scored on their first play from scrimmage after getting a three and out against Benet.

Benet having some success moving the ball on the ground but CG has created a couple of turnovers to squash some drives.

CG had a couple of fumbles in the second half. First came during a nice drive and Pennington fumbled with a Redwing recovery. At end CG fumbled on six yard line of Benet. Need to limit those turnovers as that will hurt CG against a team like Batavia next week.

Defense played well for CG. Pennington had three sacks and getting pounded every play as FB and then staying on the field and playing defense like he did...brutal. Those two LBs on Benet are players.

CG nice squad. Early turnover by Benet took the wind out of sails and fell behind 14-0. CG ran offense well. Benet played catch up all day. Pennington kid a nice player. MLB for Benet Weidenbach is a stud. On to Batavia.

Expect another win for them next week against Batavia ..a battle though!
