CG 48 / Belleville West 7 Final (CG QB out)

CG's starting QB is out with mono. Not sure he'll be back at all for playoffs. Backup did a nice job running the offense and even threw a nice TD pass in Q1. He looks faster than the starter when keeping the ball, but as the games get tougher, they will miss Sullivan.

CG looked good on both sides of the ball. Faked a punt from their own 20 early in second half which went for a TD, so a little trickery.

Newt, press may be saying flu but a school administrator I spoke to at the game and word around the stadium last night is he has been diagnosed with mono. Sure hope you're right, but too much of what I heard points the other way. We'll see what we hear in the next day or two.
