Arenas already committed to USC. Unless you’re saying he won’t play next season and it’s why CBM committed there. I think he will play for sure.
Not sure why you’re quoting me here. It was the other poster who claimed he was “out of the picture”, not me.

And I agree with you. I think he will play next season.

I thought at first that he had transferred to South Carolina, which is also USC. But now I see it’s a different USC, Southern Cal.

I quoted you because I was asking what you meant that’s all. You answered my question.

Juco years don’t count against your eligibility anymore and one year doesn’t count due to being the covid year.

Dude was born before 9/11 and is still playing college ball. Hell, I wasn't even IN college yet when he was born. Crazy that a TWENTY-FIVE year old is playing CBB. He will be 26 by the time the tourney kicks off next year. He will have to be the oldest player currently playing by then. For comparison, Fox (yes our Fox) is 27 years old atm and has been in the league for EIGHT years and was an All-Star by the time he was 24.

CBM needs to move on. Seriously.

Hours after Chad Baker-Mazara commits to USC, Keonte Jones announces his decommitment from the Trojans. Jones averaged 13.1 points, 9.0 rebounds and 4.1 assists at Cal State Northridge this past season.

I'm not saying you're wrong, but he was born in the Dominican as well so that delayed his entrance into college too.

Dontaie Allen is looking to play next year and has another year of eligibility. He's the same age as Baker-Mazara and didn't live in the Dominican or go to Juco.

It's ridiculous either way at this point. Either try your luck at the pros or find a job.
