Zags missing all their inside shots. Need to get better position on the shots down low 2nd half.
Gonzaga had multiple chances to really take control of the game, but just weren't quite able to do it. Feels like they should be up by more right now. We've seen the dangers of letting a team stay in it multiple times this season unfortunately.
And Williams-Goss, one of the best free throw shooters in the country, misses two straight. At least he made the last two and that three by Berry didn't go down.
Neither team played particularly well, but I think that's a credit to each team defensively too.
What team can make a run the first six to eight minutes of the second half and put a little pressure on the other? Could be the difference.
Yeah, should be ahead by at least 8 to 10 points, and probably more. Still, the Zags can play some defense, and that should keep them in it. Got to be strong on the glass...and can't afford to get into foul trouble early in the 2nd half.

Yep I couldn't believe he missed. I feel like the Zags were a lot more in control but like others said missed big opportunities. Overall though they're sitting pretty well

No one was ever going to run out in this game. There are going to be runs both ways.
Gonzaga did really well on the boards before their foul-related substitutions. They will be able to play who they want again in the second half and hopefully no one picks up a quick third. Karnowski has to start making some of those bunnies though.

I actually think you could say the same thing for UNC. They missed some really easy shots too. Plus, a guy like Perkins played the best half of his life. These teams are pretty evenly matched. I'd be surprised if either team pulled away, to be honest.

The heels have a serious knack for crashing the glass as a whole. It sounds simple but it's not. It sounds unimportant when they aren't shooting well. But you scrap enough you get enough put backs you hang around long enough you buy yourself enough time for them to go on one of their patented runs. You don't need to shoot well all game long when you rebound like they do. It wasn't as bad as Oregon but if this continues it could spell doom
