If it was prearranged by whoever, after Missouri at home should be a prime time to do it. That should be almost a guaranteed win.
Exactly. Fans really need to grow up. Holy hell has been raised about JMI and NIL hurting our recruiting and when Chandler performs his and gets blasted. That is stupid and damaging to recruiting.
Hey top recruit come to UK get some NIL cause UK brags they have more. Just make sure you clear it with every member of BBN when you post it (even though it is required to be posted) because BBN may direct their misplaced anger at you. Heck of a recruiting pitch.
If I’m Chandler, every recruit is getting shown my IG on their visit.
I am VERY disappointed in the UK season. I hate NIL. But I understand NIL is now the way it’s done so this belief that the players need to “hurt more” or “feel more” or be less tone deaf are over. They came to UK to get paid and they have contractual responsibilities. The real problem is the AD who hired an unqualified coach and a coach who missed far too many portal targets resulting in a very poorly constructed roster.
Nil is out of control and things are only going to get worse in college sports, it’s ruining college sports. We all knew it would, I’ll still watch but it’s not near as important as it used to be to me. I remember staying up till after midnight watching the great Alaskan shootout, and standing in line at Memorial Coliseum just to make sure I got in and got a good seat. I’m older now and wouldn’t do that again for nothing, no loyalty, transfer rules are ridiculous it’s just not the same.
Bunch of guys who probably had 10 other destinations in mind with 10 other coaches before Pope, but saw the giant pay day and said "Heck, I'll come for 5 months and dick around at practice". We absolutely have a few of these.

Can’t say he wasn’t taking it seriously by doing the signing. It was poor-timed but not everyone is going to have the same level of awareness on certain things. He’s a young man — I did a whole lot of things far more stupid than that at his age.
