He's too wildly inconsistent and limited in too many ways to be a main guy right now. Could he take more of a leap, I think so. I'd love to see it.Isn't Trilly Donovan Matt Norlander?
Also, I think he gets like 6/10 things right?
I could see Chandler going back to BYU next year.
I personally think Chandler is a key piece next year. He's not the main guy but he's a guy. He's basically a good roleplayer imo.
I agree. Chandler is a 10-12 minute off the bench role-player guy. He has a lot of potential and still has a lot of issues. Again, I think under the right coach most of Pope's players this past season would be better. He's too wildly inconsistent and limited in too many ways to be a main guy right now. No he's not Norlander, he's the Florida guy. But he gets way more than 6/10 right when he makes a pick. Notoriously bad at picking guys to UK though.Isn't Trilly Donovan Matt Norlander?

I think 6th man is right but the mins for that is more than 10-12.I agree. Chandler is a 10-12 minute off the bench role-player guy. He has a lot of potential and still has a lot of issues. Again, I think under the right coach most of Pope's players this past season would be better.
Chandler would be an excellent 6th man guy.
10-12 minutes? He's not "THE guy" but he's better than thatI agree. Chandler is a 10-12 minute off the bench role-player guy. He has a lot of potential and still has a lot of issues. Again, I think under the right coach most of Pope's players this past season would be better.

I would put Kam over Chandler as the 6th man. I would even start Kam over Chandler.Chandler and Kam are both sixth man types IMO.
Did you not watch him this year? He can only perform for that amount of time and when he plays long spurts he makes way too man terrible mistakes on defense and has terrible bad turnovers. 10-12 minutes baring on roster as a 6th man yes. Could he get more time? Yes. But he has to improve. He has a ton of potential.10-12 minutes? He's not "THE guy" but he's better than that
He literally can only stand on the perimeter and wait for a catch and shoot10-12 minutes? He's not "THE guy" but he's better than that
I based the 10-12 minutes based off his efficiency this past season. More than likely for our roster make up this coming year, should be like 15-25.I think 6th man is right but the mins for that is more than 10-12.
We have landed 0 big portal commits, so I’m not positive that number will change going forward. To this point, I’ve seen nothing that tells me otherwise atleast.Fine with him leaving. We need some room for big portal commits.
Well I thought he wasn’t good enough according to the fan base. Maybe we will get someone better? I haven’t seen a big portal player enter the portal yet.We have landed 0 big portal commits, so I’m not positive that number will change going forward. I agree, he could be a dead eye shooter if he just hones his craft and waits for kick outsI'd like to keep him. Need good role players that are Juniors and Seniors, that is when they are most valuable.
If Chandler and Moreno are the core and not complimentary pieces, we're in deep doodoo.Chandler and Moreno I feel are the core of the team and he if goes then I think we are in some real trouble going forward. I know it’s not what we want currently but CC leaving really will raise a lot of eyebrows and definitely will be granted. Replacing this many coaches along with basically a new roster in a short period of time…….can’t say I trust they can do that and get us back to relevancy.
You mean CC or CMP? Sorry, couldn’t resist. He's too wildly inconsistent and limited in too many ways to be a main guy right now.
I feel much the same. It certainly has all the earmarks of a sinking ship.Folks… time to wake up and realize that Mark Pope is a dead man walking. It’s inevitable. The assistants knew it. The players know it. I wouldn’t be shocked if we only return two or three guys. THE only reason why we’re still discussing this is because our AD is retiring in two months, doesn’t care, and is a moron. We’re not gonna have a good team next year. I will guarantee hands down we don’t make the NCAA tournament.
Kentucky basketball will be laid desolate for the next 365 days and there ain’t a damn thing any of us can do about it.
lol. Pope is consistent. Consistently mid.You mean CC or CMP? Sorry, couldn’t resist.
Agree. They are not elite starter types. They are good first off the bench players. Both are too limited and dare I say it, inconsistent. If Chandler and Moreno are the core and not complimentary pieces, we're in deep doodoo.
Have you seen or heard anything about who the new assistant coaches might beMy guess would be BYU.
The thinking is that a quality player ahead of him should be playing at least 28 minutes, if we want a TOP TEN team. He averaged around 10 points in 27 minutes of action. To be a great team, he needs to be recruited over and play fewer minutes. 8 points in around 15 minutes sounds about right to me.10-12 minutes? He's not "THE guy" but he's better than that
