This team is on their way to the bubble. Embarrassing performance against an average opponent. Putrid offensive sets follow coach Banghart everywhere it seems no matter what the personnel is.
what's your answer then, smart guyFire the football coach. Fire the men’s basketball coach. Fire the women’s basketball coach. Fire the baseball coach. If all else fails just fire everybody. And when the next coach comes, fire them too…
I’m glad my livelihood isn’t in some of y’all’s hands.
We are seriously underachieving in almost every sport you named. Not baseball.Fire the football coach. Fire the men’s basketball coach. Fire the women’s basketball coach. Fire the baseball coach. If all else fails just fire everybody. And when the next coach comes, fire them too…

Right? It’s like some love to underperform. If it’s a 1-2 season issue, I’d like to lean towards patience. But when significant issues become an annual occurrence after those couple of years, change should be considered.what's your answer then, smart guy
Let’s get the recruits for next year in here first then I will agree with a coaching change if things don’t changeThis team has so regressed, from awful preparation to awful preparedness to abysmal execution, one quick observation is the Coach not put so much dependence in India, especially offensively, she can stuff a stat sheet against weak competition however look at the ND guard, 31 pts and the best defender on the floor, where as IN can barely make a layup.
Our bigs had decisive advantage from a size perspective and were also non-existent.
So many coaches in the conference envy the amount of talent this team has and so sad for the kids. Unless a drastic improvement, I can see a potential change at the top with the expectation being so high!
Bigs (Toomey, Harris and Thomas) are just so soft. They’re big, but play like tissue paper on the block. This team has so regressed, from awful preparation to awful preparedness to abysmal execution, one quick observation is the Coach not put so much dependence in India, especially offensively, she can stuff a stat sheet against weak competition however look at the ND guard, 31 pts and the best defender on the floor, where as IN can barely make a layup.

Darel, we've been doing that. It's not working!Let’s get the recruits for next year in here first then I will agree with a coaching change if things don’t change
4 or 5 seed? Well on their way to a 8/9I am UNC all day and every day. I really want the UNC Women's team to do well but we have seen this movie again and again. We dominate and beat up people below us...so so against people and completely outclassed almost every time we play a good team. We have recruited good enough to be a good, consistent top 15 program but we are not progressing to get to the top tier. I don't know man...I see issues with conditioning, ball handling, 3 pt shooting and offensive identify. We are winning due to pure talent that we have but to get to the top, we need more. I don't know if Coach CB is the right person or not...It just looks like we are headed back to a 4/5 seed in tournament and a bow out in the first weekend. We should be banging on the door of the Elite 8 every year.
CB's tenure is long enough now that we know what we're going to get, and that's poor shooting, poor off-ball movement, guards who don't feed the bigs enough, and too much hero ball at the end of shot clocks because we get so little out of our primary and secondary actions. I don't expect us to get anything different from that at this point.

Stop playing Reniya Kelly so much?what's your answer then, smart guy
Harris was the only one that tried today.Bigs (Toomey, Harris and Thomas) are just so soft. They’re big, but play like tissue paper on the block.
We are, actually, the 8th youngest team in the country this year.UNC is always "young" even if they really aren't.
Hope is not a strategyHopefully Harpring is the alpha scorer that Banghart hasn't had. Deja put up points but it was in such an inefficient manner, did it really matter?
yeah well we’re not coaches or the ADHope is not a strategy
To his point tho when ever their is a hard time ,and yes teams have hard times , your answer is to fire the coach . We're talking about a coach who has generally done well since being here, recruiting ,we care winning more games oppose to losing most, making the tournament, of course we have national championship yet. But again I ask the question I submitted in earlier discussions,we fire her are we ok and ready for what is next ,if that is really your answer? We are seriously underachieving in almost every sport you named. Not baseball.
Are you ready to settle for mediocrity? To his point tho when ever their is a hard time ,and yes teams have hard times , your answer is to fire the coach . They were also considered to be young last season because most of the reserves were freshman despite starting two super seniors, a four year senior and a junior. I know they wouldn't be considered to be veteran team if the four of the starters were freshmen and the reserves were mostly made up of juniors and seniors. We are, actually, the 8th youngest team in the country this year.
Fire our head coach now we would be the laughing stock of the ACC and that mediocrity you ask about will get a lot worse for the women's program. You think it's bad now ,which it's not remotely bad as we making it out to be, but fire the head coach now and you'll see. Our fan base and I'm trying to be respectful are a tad bit spoiled at this point. Yes I'm with you id love to win the games you guys would like or want us to win, reality is we didn't win. But as a program are we doing bad to fire our coach? No. Like my opinion on Hubert with the men team , it's all about the right coaching staff we put around our head coach. Let's start there. Are you ready to settle for mediocrity?
I never said they should be fired now. Serious conversations need to be had at the end of the season unless major improvement is made. We are heading for the bubble or worse. We are going to lose 10 games or more.Fire our head coach now we would be the laughing stock of the ACC and that mediocrity you ask about will get a lot worse for the women's program.
