Not even close for me. Never. I have never washed anything else other than Chapstick but I have done that a bunch. I guess because it lays flat in my pocket.

Has there ever in human history been a chapstick completely used? Probably not. Definitely melted in some fashion; or lost.

Off-topic tip: If you have REALLY chapped lips, Neosporin/triple antibiotic ointment (not the cream) is the bomb.
But yeah, i lose those tubes before they are finished, too.

Lose them all the time of course, but somehow, they periodically reappear, melted, in the center console of my car.
Carmex > ChapStick, IMO. It has camphor and menthol to actually help heal chapped lips also several waxes & oils to prevent it. Highly recommend.
