I wouldn't get too high over a 2017 commit right now, or too low over a 2017 decommit.
This is a 2017 recruit... nothing wrong with him decomitting. He may very well end up here or he may go elsewhere. Either way, we have plenty of time to find someone to replace him if we need to. No reason at all to be mad about this.
My thoughts too. I'm sure the staff can find someone just as good, if not better. And of course its possible he commits back to UK at some point anyway.
Maybe if this O staff shows the proper way to use a TE it'll rekindle his interest.
I understand decommiting if Dawson was retained but Gran and Hinshaw have put up some incredible numbers with good tightends. Conrad will catch 40 balls this year.
I totally agree. Even so, this kid is extremely athletic for a TE. Hoping that he hops back on board.
Better teams than UK deal with things like this all the time. It's the nature of the business.
Good. I really don't care what they say. I've often said to friends of mine...if we get to where we want to be (contending for the SEC East), then a mid-level ACC team will be of little concern to us.

When I first saw the thread title I had frankly forgotten who Reeves was. I thought it was a kid committed elsewhere that we could/should be going after.
Like others have said, I'm not going to lose sleep over this. I'm more worried about getting the 2016 class signed, sealed, and delivered.

I don't follow recruiting anymore due to all the crap involved, but I learned a couple years back that recruits will "commit" to a team just to force the real team they want to offer.
