Saw a thing on espn earlier that those$$$$$$$$$ folks have pretty much demanded that CS be fired and they would pay what it takes to get Hermann to Texas...guess this is part of why Texas didn't want them in the B12

The reason they're not part of the Big 12 is because Houston is the team that no one wants to play, especially UT. They were always a sort of "redheaded stepchild" down here and when the Big 12 was formed it was a way for UT to get out of having to play them every year. It's one of those situations where Houston has nothing to lose and UT nothing to gain.
