Charmin Pope Defense

Until Mark Pope isn't as focused on being Mike Dantoni/Steve Nash/Suns of college bball.....this soft *** defensive approach isn't going to cut it.

THis is like Ohio St, Arkansas, Vandy games last year.....but with tons of athletes in Aberdeen, Oweh, Lowe, CHandler, Diabate, etc...

Dudes just running free the entire game, 3pt line is wide open, trying to constantly chase behind screens, dudes straight line drives all night, etc....

Doesn't have the tenacity/toughness of Pitino defensive squads.

Exactly and Kansas is so-so. We played any type of defense we win this game comfortably.

It would have definitely been a risk. The vast majority of their 3s were off dribble penetration though, so going to a zone to take that away for at least a few possessions could have had merit.
