They fired the coach who recruited him. Two other teammates have also transferred. It's a good bet that's the reason.
In cases like that, aren't they generally giving immediate availability if they ask or are they still requiring them to sit out?

I think that only applies to recruits who have signed a LOI but not yet played. But I honestly don't know.

Then the question would be, which way are we better off since he is in a position where we have a couple guys

I think NU would be better off if he is immediately eligible. Can't finish dead dog last 2 years in a row and the current roster doesn't give much hope to escape the cellar.

Nebraska finished in front of us in the B1G the past two seasons. (And they still fired their coach.) Chase Audige looks like a good player. We could definitely use him right away if possible.
Yes, but we are talking about next year and the Mayor is going to have a VERY tough first year at Nebby. They better hope Robey returns.
