The BURNS FANS have been saying how SUDDENLY the BULLDOGS are SHOOTING for A STATE TITLE and they have the BEST PLAYER IN THE STATE, YOU have made me a believer. I pity the poor GOLDEN LIONS.

I said best player in the county but no Burns fan has !mentioned state title ....could it happen this year ? Sure it can but I'm not thinking that far ahead . I think Devine as he was in 2016 is coach of the year .
It may depend on if Burns and Shelby are both big or small 2A, I’d like to see one big and one small but I doubt we’ll get that lucky...and don’t forget South Point, Hibriten, Reidsville, and East Surry (who beat Reidsville). And a team like North Lincoln could be a dark horse. I’m definitely not thinking that far ahead.
Pryor is special, and in 2A one or two kids can lead you to a state title. Not saying this is the case cause Burns has plenty of teams to prepare for but Pryor is a special talent
East Surry is 1AA. I wouldnt bet on North Lincoln against any of these schools listed. They are solid and well coached but our conference is not very good right now.
The teams listed other than Reidsville will be 2AA and that’s gonna be a nightmare to get through. Yeah east Surry is 1AA but 2AA is gonna be a monster (is most years) to get to a championship game. From about 2nd round on it’s gonna be some battles
WOW just saw the NC PREP.COM ELITE 8 ranking, 2A must be really be WEAK this year, THE NUMBER 1 AND 2 RANK TEAMS LOST BY A COMBINE SCORE OF 76 TO 22 TO A YOUNG 3A TEAM KINGS MOUNTAIN.
Hibriten has the tools to be a real good spread team. 2AA West is shaping up again to become a monster champions league.
To me the Burns and South point will determine if anyone is able to beat Shelby. Shelby has to be aware of rematches, not saying Shelby will beat Burns. If both of those are blowouts then Shelby has separated itself from the pack, imo.
ALL I am saying that if SHELBY and BURNS are the TWO BEST TEAMS in THE STATE then 2A IS REALLY DOWN THIS YEAR PERIOD no matter how its TYPE.Weak is your typing skills

That is crazy. KM lost to Shelby last year when the Lions weren’t playing good and KM went to the fourth rd. So 3a was really weak last year.
