Someone remind me, I know we were getting close with this kid and it was looking like he may commit to pope. Who did we end up with instead? Didn’t he commit to Tenn right before we got Robinson?

Dude can flat out BALL I wish he came here but can't wait to face him and put that UK smackdown on UT.
We went after him right before Robinson committed and right after we snagged Brea.
He grew up a UT fan and lived about an hour west of Knoxville. UT paid him $1.8 million to come there.
UK did everything they could do this side of offering him $2 million a year to come to Kentucky.
Sometimes they just want to play for the home state.
I feel like there wasn’t a scenario where we could have added him to this roster. I’m trying to recall but I think it was an either/or scenario with one of our kids. JR maybe. I forget
