Cheats' Anthony Harris

UNCheats seems to have two consistently good players: Garrison Brooks and freshman guard Anthony Harris. Unfortunately, Harris suffered an injury last night. As I recall, Harris took an official visit to Duke last fall, but didn't receive a Duke offer. Any thoughts on why he didn't receive a Duke offer?

I’m assuming because the coaching staff had a good feeling Tre would comeback and then Roach would commit for the year after. Also they probably saw that Goldwire was going to be a bigger contributor then they thought. That’s my guess.

Yes. He signed with Virginia Tech after officially visiting Duke. I don't recall a player taking an official visit and not getting an offer

Absolutely brutal. Some kids are just unlucky when it comes to injuries. Feel bad for the kid.

It's been discuseed so many times on not only this board but also the thr board in the fact that the unc cheater u is a very complicated system. Not just anyone can understand it much less master it in under 2 years to say the least. With that said hof coach roy williams can't just recruit any 4 or 5 star players out there. He has to be very selective with he and his staff doing tons of homework on who they want in the famly. That in itself has to complicated. Once at unc cheater u then those recruits are in for the the difficult process they have to go through. coby white and nassir little may have thought they had what it takes and both opted for the easy way out by declaring for the draft. We are very fortunate to have benefited over the years old those players who hof roy determined did not have what it takes to pay for him so we owe him a lot of credit . I don't know where our program would be without him. OFC
