How bad does it suck to be so miserable all the time?
Just wish more fans here would wait to the end of a season before trashing the team and coaches. What is the opposite of "sunshine pumpers"? That is who I speak of.
After Southern Miss and Florida I jumped ship.... I never saw the turn around coming...couldn't be happier..
Well I'm not a "pumper" or an "anti", but I have continually asked Coach Stoops to prove the naysayers wrong with a BIG win. Today he has accomplished that against the team and coach I LOVE beating more than any other!!!
Now let's band together to win a Bowl game, end that HORRIBLE UF streak and actually contend for the SEC EAST!!!

I was a 7-5 predictor but not the way they did it. Congratulations on a great win. I was feeling pretty good about this team after Georgia. Johnson sure played with poise and maturity beyond his years.
Not miserable at all. Excited about the huge win. Great game. I guess you didn't think we should have won the So. Miss. game!!
And could have lost several close games. I'm happy we are in this position after the terrible Sou Miss loss.
Well, I am a little down - NOT! LOLS! I predicted 8 wins plus this year - still might get the 8 with a great Bowl win. I missed on Southern Miss game and really was dejected after Florida game. But then Coach Gran and Stephen Johnson turned us around. I felt we had the talent and the schedule to do it this year. I even called this game - by that I thought it would go to the wire and we if stayed close we could pull it out.
I said in July, that we could win 8 plus this year. I also thought we could win 10 next year - but that was before Barker got injured and before Johnson had played a snap. I was down on Johnson at QB, not because I didn't like the kid - I just thought his inexperience, his size and his throwing mechanics wouldn't get the job done. BUTTTTT, the one thing you can't measure is a kid's heart and HIS ability to rally others around him. Stephen Johnson obviously has the team backing him up.

I don't think I'm a sunshine pumper but just someone who felt the season should be played out before criticizing Stoops and calling for his head. I've noticed a lot of the Stoops haters are missing all of the sudden so maybe they found a hole to go crawl in lol. And I also was 1000% percent against having Petrino as the head coach so I can't help but feel a little vindicated with the win today. Seeing all of the Petrino worshipping on here was really pathetic.
Once Benny became a player in game 3 I knew we had a chance. You could instantly tell we had a difference maker.
Well, since I am one to 'spin', I must say going into this game, I was resigned to be disappointed in that I had stated clearly before the season, here and other places that I would be disappointed if we didn't win 7 games this year. We didn't win them the way I thought we would however, so there's that disclaimer. That said, the would'a, could'a, should'a SM game still stings. I'm planning on being in Hattiesburg next year to witness an epic beat down.

Go back to ANY game day thread and look at the comments after the FIRST mistake or FIRST three and out by the Cats. Its borderline pathetic. It usually starts at the end of page or or by page two for sure. I read the thread just for entertainment, and to know who the loser fans are.
Gran was awesome in Cincy and amazing here in his first year but if Stoops doesn't change the defensive calls and fix special teams, they are losing every game scoring 40 points.
