Aidan Igiehon - 11 mins a game. 3.7 points, 3.3 rebounds. Has scored 26 points in 7 games this year and 26 points was coincidentally the total number of points he scored at UofL in 2 years.

Quinn Slazinski - 25 mins a game, 10.6 points, 4.3 rebounds. Shooting 29% from three, 33% from the field.

Josh Nickelberry - 26 mins a game, 12.9 points, 3.3 rebounds, shooting 36% from 3 and 41% from the field.

Its a shame that Aidan didn't/hasn't come close to living up to the hype because he seems like a very cool dude. I think its safe to say that transferring has been the best outcome for all those involved. I always felt like Nickelberry was a solid player (he'd show tiny flashes) but was just trying to play at a level above his skill. Lasalle is the perfect level for him - he simply isn't a high major player. Quinn I'm not sure. I loved the kids energy and if anyone can maximize a kid like him its Rick but he's not a major P5 player either. My hope is that these guys were all targeted and recruited by the former coaches and not by Mack himself.

Everything you say is probably true.

I think it's the minutes that's the big difference for Nickelberry. And those minutes are available because the depth and talent where he plays now is not on par with what he was against here. There's a real big difference between playing roughly 10 Min per constantly looking over your shoulder to be checked out of the game, without much drawn up for him here to an offense probably running directly through him @ Lasalle where he is probably a #2 option and only getting subbed out for rest and/or fouls.

I apply the same to D Perry @ UCF, he trended like Josh when he left.

I always root for the guys that transfer out.

Nickelberry and, to some extent, Aiden were frequently injured while at UofL leaving them perpetually behind their teammates and unable to contribute.

And they were not elite or great players in terms of ability so they were recruited over or just not up to high D1 level. I agree that where they ended up seems better suited for them and they get more playing time.

I'm glad to see these young men doing well. For any of us who have played basketball at any level, your dream is to play and enjoy the game. You don't have to be a star at a major university to achieve that DREAM.

Go CARDS. Beat Depaul.
