Hey Footballnc71, how would you like for us Mount Airy fans to go on the 2A board and tell Monroe how bad East Surry was going to beat them Friday night. You probably wouldn't like it and I probably wouldn't do it because I have no dog in the fight on the 2A like you don't on the 1A... I will be pulling for East Surry though.
Well, what do you know there was a post yesterday on the 2A about Monroe vs East Surry by a 1A poster I have not seen this year, that I remember. 1st local 2A post I have seen this year. Footballnc71, you may need to be on the 2A board posting for ES. Oh, you are there predicting ES to lose by in your words, Love my cards but I say 34 to 21 Monroe.

Well to be fair it was only a 12 nothing game going into the fourth quarter. But tarboro's offense did what it was designed to do. Grind down a defense and deliver The knockout blow in the fourth quarter and that's exactly what tarboro did. I don't know if this Mount airy team is as good as that one that team was really good they don't get enough credit. Especially with their quarterback that kid was tough as nails getting hit as much as he did. As far as chest-thumping everybody does it let's be honest I know i have plenty of times. But when you chest thump be ready to swallow your pride in the event your team loses I did that back in 2019.

Let me say this about the let's go Brandon chant. I was watching the Nascar race when the chant was born and I feel really bad for the reporter because it was obvious what they were chanting she really tried to change the subject and hope and pray that the people watching didn't actually hear what they were saying. I will admit it is kind of funny, but at the same time I feel bad for the reporter because she's gotten a lot of heat over it really for no reason. And plus the poor guy that won the race Brandon Brown is now remembered as a meme lol.
I don't feel sorry for the female reporter at all....she should've just cut short the interview and not try to "explain" the chant in the background....if she would have done that....this would have died a fairly quick death.........
