Was he on this morning? I wish somebody would post links of all chester's calls along with all of the truth's calls and a bonus James with the 4.2 40. I could listen to them all day

I support the team always, but I expect them, regardless of talent level, to play with passion, to be disciplined enough to carry out their assignments, and I expect coaches to coach talent up to its potential, not down from its potential. I was at the game Saturday (I can usually only get one week-end off each season, and that happened to be the week-end). I applaud the passionate play I saw from much of our offense, from Johnson to Boom to Snell and the WRs and to the OL at times. I'm not speaking of their success against an inferior D, but the fire and determination that they displayed in their attack. The D looked confused the whole first half, was constantly out of position, and seem unprepared for the game. However, they did look better the 2nd half, and they did get a few takeaways. Especially nice was the INT in the end zone. Had we given up a score there, they whole outcome likely would have been different. Our D would be better if they just had the kind of confidence that comes from knowing what you're doing. You can't play with much aggression, if you don't even know where you're supposed to line up. Confusion leads to tentative play.

Wait. Are you talking about 4.1 James? Don't slow him down by a tenth of a second. He has the fastest 40 time in history.

You should support your team during the season and evaluate in the offseason , I'm for the program .
Who has said they aren't supporting the team? Don't have to like the coaches to like the players and support them.

Chester's message today was: It is too soon to bad mouth the UK football team. Just STFU until after the season. The BBN should support the team the rest of the way.

I would never agree with that. If you just cheer and back slap while telling the coaches and players of how awesome they were then you will see no improvement. Rather you need to be pushed to achieve better results.

I love chester. Always entertaining and at the end of the call I always find myself supporting his viewpoint or opinion. He might be the most charismatic uncharismatic person to ever live. Let chester give the pre game talk at Bama

I always find myself about to get pissed off at what he's about to say (i.e. defending the program), but I end up agreeing with him 90% of the time. He would do well in sales.

For those asking, who isn't supporting the team? I think it's the folks who call for a boycott. Chester said it differently but these are kids anyway you slice it and in most cases I'm sure they are giving it all they got.

With that said Chester is simply awesome.

If you waited until the end of the season to evaluate, cal to U.K. Might not of happened. We were in back channels talking to him Long before the end of the season.

Look at the coaching replacements threads , that's not support and the coach is part of the program . There have been plenty of posts on this board that is the exact opposite of support , all of that negativity doesn't support recruiting which hurts the program . It's disingenuous to pretend this board is mostly supportive .

Chester is a clown. Anybody that is that supportive of the garbage we have seen with Stoops is either stupid or wants the program to be a perpetual failure. As far as this board not being supportive, the program only has themselves to blame.

If people are stupid for being supportive despite poor play then it's sloped forehead , knuckle dragger , mouth breather dumb to throw a tantrum .

Chester is awesome. I will have to admit but sometimes all the optimism in the world won't change the facts. We needed to make a change with Tubby Smith years before we did and we most definitely need to make a change with Stoops. It does not make you any less of a fan wanting a change when you see things just are not working out and its obvious the end result of this regime.

If you're going to wait until the end of the season to evaluate anything then why don't you just save yourself some keystrokes until then too. Let all of us who aren't for the program discuss football. [eyeroll]

Better yet you should go be a fan of UL and join your dream coach instead of conducting a fantasy coaching search . Save yourself some frustration because it's not going to happen anyway .

Please tell me how keeping a bad coach will help recruiting.

Blaming fans for bad recruiting is asinine if they don't support the coach. What ridiculous logic.

Stick to the bball forum. At least you have some knowledge in it. Your football IQ is not very good, as seen by your posts in this thread and numerous others.

That's how it always works. The schools, teams reach out to the coach's agent so the coach can deny w/o technically lying about it if rumors start flying. On topic, I think Chester is about as real as the Easter Bunny. His calls are way too convenient at way too convenient of times.

The only thing you know is how to be a baby and throw a fit , for no reason because those like you on this board are overlooked by UK as the ridiculous lunatic fringe . But have at it with your next great coaching search thread .

And by the way , here is your definition of support captain I.Q.
