Pick all the games.

Blue:

BR (23) @ Crete-Monee (124) - Look for the Crusaders to continue this "Trail of Tears" over this week's Warriors. BR 28 C-M 14
MP (277) @ MC (12) - Back in '04, MoPo beat MC 13-9 in the opener. Both teams would eventually lose in the semis that year. That was before Coach Lexie Spurlock got canned by a truly useless principal, Beryl Shingles, so that they could go "in a new direction." She has a point, losing is a new direction. MC 35 MoPo 9
PC (14) @ Oswego (30) - Oswego come off a close loss to a very good Batavia team. The Celtics apparently graduated everyone. Steel Panthers 28 Celts 10
Dunbar (244) @ SR (60) - I wonder if anyone has any theories as to why Rita lost last week? Thank heavens for Dunbar. Mustangs 28 Mightymen 12
LA (1) @ MS (20) - I think it'll be a defensive game. Ramblers 9 Hawks 6

Green:
MA (4064, 144) @ Guerin of Indiana (2711, 69) - 4 hour bus ride? Are we there yet? Cadets 21 Golden Eagles 18
Huntley (54) @ DLS (186) - Looks to be a long season for the Meteors. Red Raiders 28 Meteors 10
Montini (13) @ ESL (7) - Track meet. Flyers 42 Broncos 35
Bowen (367) @ Fenwick (40) - Friars 42 Boilermakers 12
SF (56) - With a forfeit, things will be quiet this week at Kuhn Memorial Stadium. Maybe an opportunity to enjoy a glass a Cabernet from the vineyard of the generous Ron and Teri Kuhn: LINK

White:
Marshall (388) @ AC (253) - AD Dilemma: riding a bus for 3-4 hours or scheduling a CPS team. AC 42 Commando 12
CVS (299) @ SL (240) - Vikes actually need this win. SL 21 CVS 14
Leo (355) @ Naz (4) - Roadrunners 42 Lions 33
TP (188) @ SI (256) - I'm sensing a bit of an upset. Wolfpack 14 Titans 12
PN (118) @ BMac (115) - Tigers 21 Fightin' Irish 14

Red:
LV (537) @ GT (290) - I see the Rams making the playoffs. Rams 35 Wildcats 6
SJ (443) @ KP (578) - Chargers 28 Panthers 10
HF .... is ranked 218 this week. Naperville North is 221.

Rice over Crete.....the darkhorse to win the Blue this year?
MC over MP....MC needs to get their offense going in gearing up for the Blue run.
Rita over Dunbar....going to be a long year in the Blue for the Mustangs. Plus, they get Montini in Week 3. Ouch.
Provi over Oswego....agree that this is a must win for Provi's playoff hopes. QB Frank will test the Celtics' defense. Provi needs big improvement on their O-line to give Warfield, who seems faster this year, a few openings. This should be high scoring.
Loyola over MS....the Hawks need to cut down on the turnovers to have a chance. The Ramblers' defense (with 1 returning starter) did not miss a
beat last week. Great rivalry game. Expect a highly intense, hard-hitting game. Just think the Ramblers have too much for the Hawks.

Marmion
Huntley
Fenwick
Montini over ESL.....great matchup. Speed vs. speed. Broncos pull away in the second half. Could be a shootout.

95 degrees in St. Louis Saturday. it will be a shoot out on purpose...the better conditioned team will win. one way to nullify the big guys in the 4th quarter, spread em out in qrters 1-3.... Rita vs. Bronco this year will have a slightly different outcome than last year, even if there is a windy rainstorm.

Right. But, I didn't hear much about Rice in the pre-season. MC, Loyola and PC were all ranked ahead of them.
not for those in the know. also with MC-I actually like when they start out like they did. Its when they start out like gangbusters that I get worried ie 2001

No disrespect to St Rita, but I'd put my $ on Dunbar this weekend.

Followup: I was confusing Dunbar with Phillips. I take back the prediction. Sorry.

I think what you might see in Blue is a similar scenario as 2010 where you had a Tri-Title with MC SR LA but this year with MC/BR/LA. I was out there Saturday and thought they might win and fans seemed to expect them to win a close game maybe by 7. Now MI is down but 42-0 mid 2nd Q? def watch Rice this year. no huddle, various options at WR lead by Smalling, defense better, QB accurate better fit for system good RB
