I think they are in some far flung league which would require a ton of travel. Not a good thing to be doing right now if you're not going charter which I'm sure they would not be doing on their budget.

I feel bad for those kids. They took their lumps in the revenue generation part of their schedule, basically playing for money to keep the program alive. Now they don't get to play games at their level of competition. Just stinks.

Definitely agree. Sucks for those young men. Tough season for lots of teams and players.

Chicago State's problems go far beyond COVID and the basketball program.
I really hope that Chicago State can become a cornerstone for that part of the city, educationally, culturally and athletically....It has the possibility and after the demolition of the steel industry in that area they deserve it.

Agree with everything you wrote. Plus, so many of those kids are first generation college students. They really are trying to help people break into the middle class. Their new-ish president Z Scott was a very well regarded federal prosector in Chicago, I hope she can right the ship.

They need to see if they can join the Horizon League, or maybe the Ohio Valley where Eastern Illinois plays so they can play teams closer to home. They have a nice home gym.
