I was amused yesterday hearing Holgo say that Emmett started off being part of a rotation at RB. I was like no he didn’t , Satt and Rhule had him buried on the bench and he wasn’t sniffing the field until you got here.
? Haven’t you paid attention, it was Barthel his RB coach that was keeping on the bench not Satt the OC . At least that’s what all the experts on here were telling me when I was blaming Satt.

I have no investment in preseason, the Chiefs or the (football) Bucs. That said I may watch anyways. God I missed football lol

Without the penalties, EJ is having a helluva day. Chiefs need to clean up the O-line play to preserve the great performance from their backfield...

If I was a gm I would always give NU players a hard look because they are going to be late rounders but because their coaching has been so poor over the last 10+ years you could get some good value. T-Rob was a top recruit, had about the worst experience possible at NU, was still the best player we've had probably in 15 years, barely a 3rd round pick...but I think he could be a pro bowler in the NFL. Seems weird but you can get a lot more value signing the traumatized and poorly coached than paying more for the guys who have hit their ceiling in college.

You literally need to STFU and go root for another team.

Anyone see how the polar bear did?
I was at the game.

The three Husker OLinemen held their own and moved the ball on the ground.

Hard to tell when they were playing against a KC defense that didn't have many (none?) on the field that will make the roster. Singleton played well for KC. He had eight tackles; hard to tell if they were targeting him because after he switched from left to right, they still threw at him.

Bragging Point: I'm in the End Zone shot of Butker's 69-yd FG. It would have been good from 73-74 yards.

I also had a Bird's Eye view of his miss from 43 yards in the 4th Qtr.

Could be. Emmett was a steal for KC if you ask me. Great addition to the team.
He’s looked better than I expected he would so far but facing #1 defenses instead of guys battling for roster spots will tell the story.

half tackle breaker could turn into a long successful career for a running back that can also catch out of the backfield and BLOCK

My concern for EJ is his size and propensity to spin. He exposes his back to too many big guys who I’m afraid might break him in two. He’s going to spin in to a hard charging backer or safety at some point who is going to knock him out.
