Life is good as a Duke fan, and I'm sure all of us here have plenty to be proud of and thankful for as we go to bed tonight!! Life is to short to Fret over a single loss in a game. Applys to players, coaches, fans and all.

I'll sleep well tonight, and wake up proud as hell to be a loyal Duke loving fan!

Me too buddy. Love my BlueDevils and Love what we bring next season. Very excited. Beating the Holes twice, eliminating them from the ACC Tourney will feel better once they are out of this one. This season was the most cursed season I've ever witnessed. Pumped for WCJ GTJ Alex and hopefully TD !

Would love to have the same confidence about next year. I think it may be a tough one for the Devils.

Of significance, we most likely only bring back Frank.

Hate that the season ended that way, but that's just the way it goes sometimes and I will always love my Blue Devils. At the end of the day the world hasn't ended and the sun will be up tomorrow and that's always awesome!

I do, and I love Duke.

I personally think Grayson and Luke go. Tatum is gone. Giles should go. Matt and Amile graduate.

Frank is back. I like the games of Vrank, White, Delaurier, and Bolden. But those guys are not at the point where Duke will be top 10 in my opinion.

Carter will be good. Trent will be good. Don't think O'Connell contributes that much next year. Would love Knox but can't count him now since he's not committed.

I'm not so sure about that. Lots of unanswered questions right now for next season.

But yes, good to be a Duke fan. It hurts a bit tonight, though. So goes the life of a sports fan.

I just will have a harder time ever putting as much hope into a freshman class as I did this one. It was just never meant to be as soon as the 1st injury was reported. We had many great experiences this season but couldn't get the golden ring.

Before we start saying so and so is gonna be a beast and these guys are man children.....let's wait until the season starts to make sure everyone is healthy. We we're saying some of the same things last year and look what happened. We we're calling Tatum out for being a doofus and wondered if Giles could play Defense.

Exactly. This season has taught me to start out with low expectations for freshmen.

Disappointed as a fan, but woke up with joy in my heart and life, cause my life is in the hands of one much greater than duke basketball, thank you Lord. Im blessed beyond I could imagine. I even wore my duke hat today just to show I'm not a Debbie downer

I've been more upset over other games more than this one. Like you said...glad I woke up this morning!!!

@wcu. I think Frank comes back. I think Grayson is a distinct possibility. Luke hasn't declared yet. I think Giles is still on the fence. I think we land Trevon. I KNOW Wendell is a beast. I can't sit here and say "hey we can't call him a beast yet because he could get injured." I think Gary Trent Jr could end up as good a shooter as Luke. i think Jeter could land a medical redshirt and i think he could still be a great asset to our team. I don't like the downlook of optimism around here just because we got slaughtered with injuries this year. It was a God Awful series of events for this team this year, agreed. But now we have to sit and mope for a year and wait to see if everybody gets hurt in the preseason? Not this cat !

It almost feels so weird when basketball season ends because it's a long season, and then it's a long offseason especially if the season ends in disappointment, which it has sadly:(

^This is the way each and every one of us should feel today! Folks, I can assure you, there isn't a Duke fan anywhere that feels as empty as I do right now, but life goes on. I'm so very proud to be a Duke fan, and I still love these kids and what Coach K has made of them. They are great young men, they represent Duke and themselves very well, and that's all we can ask for. We are all so spoiled, but that is because we have been on such a great ride, one that most programs would like to experience just once!
For those that have children and grandchildren, just remember this: When you get down on your knees tonight, and thank the Lord for his guiding Light, just pray they turn out right; Thank God for Kids!
Oh yeah, and also remember, IT'S GONNA BE OK!

You boys are going to salivate when you watch Wendell carter. In a way he'll give us what a hurt Harry could not... provided he too stays healthy. The kid is a FORCE in the paint.

I think there is a lot of room for criticism for this years team but they are still our boys and we shouldn't mix our criticism with insults. It's Duke and as fans we should still love them!

This is the one day of the year I hate social media the most. All the duke haters I know can contact me to let me know we lost six different ways. Disappointed with the season, but I know it's not the end. More upset that college basketball is over and I'm running out of sports. Don't really feel like watching the sweet sixteen games, not a big fan of baseball, summer is around the corner and sports are gone for a bit.

Yep, it's a bad day, but once UNC loses to UK or KU , all they really have is another we went a few games farther than Duke banner. I already have visions of Wendell with his offense rebound dunk putbacks on them dancing in my head. :D
