My oldest left for school depressed and came home with academic award.

Life is OK for now, I just can't bounce back after losses like others.

Look, we're Duke. No matter who comes back and who of the uncommitted recruits commits to us or not, just remember we're Duke. That means we're the team that is a threat every year and will rebuild at some point and at some point in the next few seasons, we WILL win another national title...AT LEAST another one if not more.

See, we're not UNC. Right now they have the bragging rights of being in the Sweet 16, but anyone who has watched basketball over the past 5+ seasons knows they will choke. They WILL go down. They should have won last year, they should win this year, but they won't. And as of last year's loss, every graduating class at UNC reduces their firepower. They claim that their recruiting woes are because of the scandal, but even if that were true, it could take several seasons after NCAA finally leaves them alone (this is of course assuming that they do nothing to UNC). So with every botched opportunity, they get worse.

Duke will rebuild. The one and dones may not always win us a title unlike 2015, but we're not a school that has to wait around and hope that we have players who stay with us long enough to develop into star players by their senior season. The best come to Duke no matter what academic year they are in, those who don't just settle for other schools.

This morning sucks, but as was pointed out by one of the commentators recently, when you go as far as Duke does in the tournament as often as we do, then you're going to not always get there, but we DO get there more than most teams in the country....because we're Duke.
