If you watched that game and think Colorado was the better team or that the game was even close to 50/50, you need help.

Every offense since Frank has had no identity or pass-heavy. I can't stand it. I'd rather have Frost, a coach with both Husker knowledge from Osborne, and an identity as an offense.

So yes, there's context. I'd rather get beat when Osborne was at the helm playing smash mouth football, knowing full-well we just go out played than this pass-heavy, mismanagement.

I'd rather get beat running the option (ala Paul Johnson or reasonable facsimile) or having some real identity.

Agree.. Hell even watching Peterson tonight, sure they scored on a nice trick pass play, but before crunch time they decided to ground it out a bit and it helped secure the win. Personally I was astonished when the AD bypassed Frost.. and in reality it seemed too good to be true.. as they say in France - C'est la vie..

I dont think they were. Im saying that your post and the other poster have two extreme opposite views of that game and I lie somewhere in the middle. I saw a much improved Colorado team from recent years and an Oregon team that was playing with a hangover the first half.

I thought back when Callahan was ejected that Paul Johnson might get a look here, but no such luck. Many may ask what Johnson has accomplished at GT, but it seems that for being in the middle of SEC and ACC country, his team's are pretty competitive. Other options could have been the Service Academy schools that run option football and had OC's that would like to move up and on.

As history has played out here, the challenge of consistently being able to recruit "skill position" players to fit West Coast or Pro style offenses just hasn't worked out well for Big Red. Add that to weather and the B12 style of play, and it feels like getting blood out of a stone.

Hate to think it, but I just have lost my faith (but not my passion) in this football program and it's leadership.
