Wondering why no one who posts in these threads are actually hoping that Rutgers starts to show incremental improvement over the next few games, especially after there was some signs of that in the prior game. If there is more hope, perhaps recruiting will pick up and things can turn around, and save the Athletic department many millions of dollars that can be better spent elsewhere.

The only thing I can think of, that explains the “FIRE THE COACH AT ALL COST” mentality is that the posters in these threads must not just be typical TV watching fans, but must have a huge amount of collective experience in running athletic departments and/or coaching D1 football. They must also have a lot of inside information from the Rutgers locker room to know exactly what is going on. And with all that expertise and experience, they are truly qualified to make decisions like this. Or maybe its just.. because the team is not winning as much as they like, and as owners of a Rutgers hat and the fact that they buy tickets and make minimum mandatory required donations, they feel they have a right to see them win. So…fire the coach That always fixes everything!!

Incremental Improvement in prior game, ah, yes, let's see what sort of improvement we make in the last 4 games. Recruiting is not going to pick up, we have lousy recruiters and a head coach that can't close. Maybe there is a reason for all these negative posts, just maybe.

You know I give this poster a lot of credit. It's not easy to swim against the current when a huge majority of public opinion is against you. It takes guts.

Ash would probably need to win at least two of the next four games to even begin to have a chance to turn things around in terms of national perception and recruiting. I just don't see that happening.

Wow.. slyker is calling EVERYONE out without even defending any part of Ash's record here... or the coaches.. or the players.

And every bit of slyker's criticism of the other posters would also apply to herself (if she is Mrs. Ash).
