Nope, but he did get suspended indefinitely for strangling his wife/fiancee. Did Cal ever do that?
Would you be okay with a UK coach having double digit losses in 5 out of 6 seasons? Even if the one good year resulted in a runner-up?

Texas is one of the best athletic programs in the country. Huge donor base with tons of wealth. Very talent rich state. Nice facilities, bice campus and pretty cool city. It's also in the big12.
Texas Tech is very similar aside from the fun city part. Considering 2 if his double digit loss seasons came post his E8 and Runner up seasons, that's not really a valid excuse.

But your comparison is wrong. You went back 10 seasons to 2013. So if he has double digit losses 5 of every 6 seasons, then that would be 10 of 12 seasons. Would you take that over 9-16 and 2013 (which wouldn't have been as bad if Noel doesn't blow out knee, probably would have made the tourney as a 5-6 seed)?

Yup about 8 bullets through the car, entire family in car. We were mistaken for the shooters in a drive by, and this was return fire. Wife took the only hit (thank god in a non lethal spot) which while that’s horrible, we are incredibly relived our daughter was spared (wish it was me though…well wish it was none of us). Our poor dog had to stay in the car at the hospital with the blood all over the front seat and floor. I arrived at the hospital shirtless since I ripped it off for her to hold on the wound - the one day I wore a non absorbent Red Sox shirt
. It was tough (I can treat bullet wounds at home now!) but she’s mostly ok now, but does have occasional bouts with nerve pain. They did not remove it as surgery would be too dangerous in its location.My advice is get a BMW. The all-steel body slowed down the .44 slug just enough that it came to rest on a bone instead of killing her.

Texas Tech went 18-11 and lost to Arkansas by 2 points in the NCAAT. Why didn't Covid effect Beard and Oats, why did it only make Cal go 9-16?

Having never been shot but hearing people that have it’s always morbidly fascinating to hear the description of the pain. Some have said they didn’t initially feel anything. Other said it feel like a bad bee sting. Almost all said though that after the initial strike the burning pain was intolerable. Braking a bine clear into has got to be close on the pain scale though. When I completely tore a ligament in my foot it felt like someone took a knife and was twisting with a hot blade.Yup about 8 bullets through the car, entire family in car. I credit my driving skills lol. We were pulled over going to the hospital because I was running reds (in a cautious manner, didn’t need a wreck on top of this) so my daughter had to lean out the window and yell “my moms been shot!” - figured they didn’t want that from a shirtless freak like me. That cop felt very very bad later, wasn’t her fault though.
Thanks man. It was really rough at first, not just with the rehab - we had no reason to think she wouldn’t walk again, but doctors these days won’t commit to ANY outcome - so it still was unnerving. They gave her no painkillers (as opposed to about 500 they gave me for my ankle). And just overcoming the issues of anger, survivors guilt, “what ifs,” wasn’t easy. Still don’t like going out at night like we used to. And if they had taken my wife’s ability to wear heels, they’d be seeing some Rambo **** (she was able to wear heels about 8 months after).
